Clinical Director | Licensed Professional Counselor

Hayley is a women's truama therapist with a sense of humor.

She is a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and has begun the process of becoming cerified in Brainspotting. Her primary approaches to therapy include the Neuroaffective Relational Model, person-centered, trauma-informed, CBT, narrative, bibliotherapy, and of course humor. She has a warm approach that puts comfort, ease, and safety at the top of her priorities, and whether surprsingly or not, humor is how she gets the therapeutic relationship there. This is the way.

For some background, Hayley received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Following a year of teaching English in Seoul, South Korea, she served the State of Maine as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for US Senator Olympia Snowe until her retirement. While working as a government relations specialist for a lobbying firm in DC, she volunteered for DC SAFE’s domestic violence hotline and decided to return to her Psychology roots to support others on a more personal level.

In December 2017, Hayley received a Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Since moving to Georgia, she have served clients in outpatient and community service board positions. Between her graduate and post-graduate practice, Hayley has experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential settings.
