What is holding you back from changing your life?
If you have never tried counseling, it is meant to push you outside your comfort zone into growth and change. That, let me tell you, is uncomfortable and generally comes with tears (which by the way, is normal and expected). Change is scary even when we want it. You will, however, be in a safe, accepting space with someone who is there to help you carry the load without judging what it is you’re carrying with you.

Song of the Month
Introducing the September song of the month: "The Tree" by Maren Morris. "I wrote this on the 10 year anniversary of my moving to Nashville. It’s about a toxic “family tree” burning itself to the ground. Halfway through, I realize it’s burning itself down without any of my help. This song evokes the pain of exhausting all your love and time for this person or “entity” but realizing it’s just a draining, transactional relationship that isn’t nourishing in any healthy way. By the end of the song, I give myself permission to face the sun, plant new seeds where it’s safer to grow and realize that sometimes there IS greener grass elsewhere." -Maren

What is Brainspotting?
Check out an explanation of Brainspotting by Mariya Javed-Payne, who recently led the 3-day training Hayley attended in May that describes key information about how the treatment works.
